Description: Between May 28-29, 2023, the Faculty of Law at the University of Haifa, together with the Haifa Center for Law and Technology at the University of Haifa (HCLT) and the Minerva Center for the Rule of Law under Extreme Conditions hosted an international conference under the title: “Intellectual Property (IP) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Extreme Conditions in Honor of Prof. Rochelle C. Dreyfuss”.

Spring Holidays greetings to all members of the University community belonging to four different religions

Description: On the eve of the Spring Religious Holidays, the Human Resources Department sent a combined greeting letter to all members of the university community belonging to four different religions. Description: On June 14, 2023 a meeting was held at the Library Auditorium with Amir Muhammad Sharif Odeh – the Leader of the Ahmadiyya Islamic community of the Kababir neighborhood in Haifa. “Tikkun Olam” – the Haifa Conference for Climate and Environmental Correction

Description: On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, a multifaceted conference called “Tikkun Olam” – the Haifa Conference for Climate and Environmental Correction”, was planned to take place at the Lorry I. Lokey City Campus, University of Haifa. Due to the shocking massacre committed by the terrorist organization of Hamas against the Israeli citizens, brutally murdering above 1,400 innocent men, women, children, infants and the elderly, and taking captives near 150 Israelis to Gaza on Saturday October 7, 2023 and the beginning of a War of Iron Swords between the State of Israel and the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip – the conference has been postponed and its new date will be announced as the war ends. The conference has been designed as a broad expert forum that discusses the various areas of the climate and environmental crisis, and offers solutions to deal with it. (more…)

Academic discourse on the Legal Reforms planned by the government of Israel
