In 2024 the University of Haifa was ranked among the Top 100 universities in the world (95th place) by the Times Higher Education’s Impact Rankings.

Notable peers in the Top 100 include MIT and the Sorbonne. The competition is intensifying, with 2,100 universities participating this year, up from 1,700 last year.  The University of Haifa also maintains its position as Israel’s leader in sustainability and uniquely submitted data for all 17 SDGs, far exceeding the minimum requirement of four.
