Description: The purpose of the forum is to map the research work being done on campus in the fields of environment and sustainability, in order to promote scientific collaborations. “Tikkun Olam” – the Haifa Conference for Climate and Environmental Correction

Description: On Tuesday, October 10, 2023, a multifaceted conference called “Tikkun Olam” – the Haifa Conference for Climate and Environmental Correction”, was planned to take place at the Lorry I. Lokey City Campus, University of Haifa. Due to the shocking massacre committed by the terrorist organization of Hamas against the Israeli citizens, brutally murdering above 1,400 innocent men, women, children, infants and the elderly, and taking captives near 150 Israelis to Gaza on Saturday October 7, 2023 and the beginning of a War of Iron Swords between the State of Israel and the terrorist organizations in the Gaza Strip – the conference has been postponed and its new date will be announced as the war ends. The conference has been designed as a broad expert forum that discusses the various areas of the climate and environmental crisis, and offers solutions to deal with it. (more…)
