The Climate and Environmental Sustainability Center at the University of Haifa in collaboration with the Israeli Climate Forum (Life & Environment (L&E) will host a summer conference entitled “Change of direction – the resilience plan“. The Israeli Climate Forum (Life & Environment (L&E))  was established at the initiative of the President of the State of Israel, Yitzhak Herzog, in January 2022, as a not-for-profit environmental NGO that serves the local environmental movement. The organization works under the vision of a cohesive, effective, heterogeneous, and pluralistic environmental movement that supports diverse strategies on joint and individual environmental impact.

The conference will bring together prominent academics in the field of climate, political and media figures, local authorities and religious leaders of Israel. Special attention will be given to the climate crisis after the seventh of October in Israel, in the shadow of society at war.
