Description: Reducing marine pollution (policy) The University has a policy aimed at preventing and reducing marine pollution in line with Israeli laws and regulations, which impose strict restrictions on all forms of marine pollution, particularly from land-based activities such as sewage and waste treatment. The relevant legislation includes: – The Prevention of Sea Pollution from Land-Based Sources Law and its Regulations (1988) – The Prevention of Seawater Pollution by Oil Ordinance (1980) – The Prevention of Seawater Pollution Law and Regulations (1983) – The Prevention of Marine Pollution from Sewage Systems Regulation (2011)
