Description

Haifa Innovation Labs, together with the Leon H. Charney School of Marine Sciences and the European Union, invited students with innovative marine ideas to join the 2-montSwitchMed Program – Switching to a circular economy in the Mediterranean.  The program aims to foster the blue economy in the Mediterranean basin and support blue growth projects in areas such as sustainable marine resource management, maritime transport, renewable energy, food, leisure, pollution control, and more.

On Thursday, July 6, 2023,  SwitchMed visited the University of Haifa’s Charney School of Marine Sciences. This visit coincided with the Demo Day organized by the Charney School of Marine Sciences and Haifa Innovation Labs to celebrate the achievements of the second cohort of the SwitchMed Blue Economy Entrepreneurship Program. The program brought together 20 talented entrepreneurs from various locations in Israel, and the Demo Day provided an opportunity to showcase the outcomes of the Blue Economy program and facilitate connections between entrepreneurs, investors, and academia.
