Description: On 29 March 2023, University of Haifa hosted a conference on Art and Artists in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. The most prominent researchers who deal with the various aspects of the field, discussed the eternal questions such as “what is art”, “who is the artist”, along with legal and copyright issues, unfair use, censorship and the like. Among the speakers were Dr. Liat Lavi, head of the Master’s Program in Visual Communication, Bezalel Academy of Arts; Matty Mariansky, Generative Artist and entrepreneur; Prof. Sheizaf Rafaeli, President of Shenkar – Engineering. Design. Art. The conference was held in the Hecht Auditorium, between 10:00 a.m. and 17:00 p.m.
