Description: The goal of the Commission for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment at the University of Haifa is to serve as address for inquiries and to provide assistance to victims of sexual harassment within the University’s community. The Commission is striving to increase awareness of the extent of the phenomenon, its diverse characteristics, and a firm stand on the principle of: If there is a doubt – there is no doubt! Periodically, the Commission issues an information bulletin dedicated to a specific topic from various aspects related to its activity. The June 2023 bulletin encourages anyone who becomes witnesses of sexual harassment to report it to the Commission immediately. According to the new regulations, University officials are required to report to the Commission as soon as they become aware of it within their area of responsibility.
