Description

One of the Haifa Impact Projects Winners 2024 is engaged in a Food rescue as an Art Project, part of a dedicated course guided by Ruti Sela. This annual undergraduate course is offered by The Department of Fine Arts at the University of Haifa, with funding assistance of the Division of Innovation & Sustainability. The course combines creative art with food rescue activity alongside interdisciplinary artistic and academic encounters, in a format that produces a social event. It aims at raising awareness of food rescue among the students and university visitors, expanding the students’ knowledge about the relationship between art, sustainability, and optimal utilization of resources, as well as spreading this knowledge further to various aid associations and philanthropic bodies.
