Description
The School of Social Work partnered with International Association of Schools of Social Work (IASSW) and Global Institute of Social Work (GISW) to successfully host the International Seminar on Disaster Preparedness and Sustainable Development. The seminar, held in conjunction with World Social Work Day 2022 (March 22, 2022, GMT 12noon -2pm (Singapore time 8-10pm), focused on Social Work in an Eco-Social World, bringing together practitioners, researchers, and educators in the field of social work and disaster risk reduction and management to share best practices in crisis and disaster management focusing on sustainability.
