The Department of Academic Staff in the Human Resources Division is happy to announce that starting 2024, male employees who are fathers of children up to the age of 5 are also entitled to the payment of a daycare supplement in the monthly salary. A daycare supplement will be paid at the same time for up to 2 children. For the first child, the supplement paid is 341 NIS per month, and for the second child – 230 NIS per month.

In order to be entitled to the “daycare supplement” payment, the employees must fill out and sign the form Employee declaration form for the purpose of receiving a “daycare supplement”,  and forward it  to the Department of Academic Staff, mailto: Ronit Richker: rrichker@univ.haifa.ac.il

Before submitting the declaration, it’s important to make sure that the children’s details are updated in the system. In order to view personal details, you must access the faculty applications portal and make sure that the updated details are correct. For your convenience, an instruction flyer is attached.
