Remote working pilot for administrative staff – extended till 31.12.2023

Description: The University’s HR department has approved the extension of remote working (working from home) pilot until 31.12.2023. The pilot is based on working from home one day a week, subject to filling out an application and agreeing form. Remote working will be approved for employees whose role and nature of work allow working remotely and fulfilling the duties of the position in full. Moreover, the employees must have an access to a technological infrastructure that allows them to perform the required tasks from home.

Reducing the use of disposable cups and water bottles throughout the campus

Description: As part of the sustainability vision of the University of Haifa and it’s day-to-day efforts to protect the environment, on 01.06.2022 university administration issued a new guideline document regarding the use of disposable utensils on campus, especially non-biodegradable ones.
