The International MA Program in Education and Development in Early Childhood has been recently launched with an event hosted by Ora and Eytan Stibbe, founders of the Anatta social benefit company, and Israeli Friends Association of the University of Haifa (R.A.). The program, led by Prof. Avi Sagi-Schwartz and Prof. Yair Ziv, offers interdisciplinary training to enhance child well-being in developing countries, following a holistic Tikkun Olam approach aligned with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. Despite the ongoing War, the program welcomed 24 professionals from 20 countries, including China, Ethiopia, Germany, India, Kenya, and Israel. Moreover, it received 50,000 NIS from the Division of Innovation and Sustainability for the students’ final projects.
