Recognizing the need for advanced information skills among research students, Younes & Soraya Nazarian Library at the University of Haifa, in collaboration with the Online Learning Unit and academic advisors, has created an online course titled ‘From Idea to Academic Publication – Information Skills for Research Students’. This course covers subjects such as locating a research topic, navigating research journals, searching for information and organizing it effectively, critical reading, academic writing, and finally addressing the growing role of AI tools in academic research. The course is free and available for students of all degrees, researchers, and academic staff.
