“Hebrew Book Week” is an annual celebration spanning a week (and sometimes even a month) dedicated to Hebrew literature, occurring in Israel every year in June. The week is usually celebrated throughout the country through various events and celebrations.
This year the Innovation & Sustainability Unit in collaboration with the Rebooks: A social bookstore chain, initiated a discount priced books fair at the University of Haifa, which took place on June 20, 2024.
Rebooks is a chain of social bookstores, that is the Rehabilitation and Training Center for the people facing occupational barriers. The vocational training in chain’s stores allows for experience and learning professional skills and tools and provides an opportunity for adaptation and integration in the labor market.
If you have books that you have finished reading, or are just gathering dust on your shelves, the team of the social bookstore chain invites you to hand in these books in each one of the chain stores or coordinate collection with us in the case of a large amount of books.
