Description
Jointly organized by the University and “Beit Abraham” (the elderly care center for the Sephardic Jewish community in Haifa), an annual research day was held on cross-cultural aspects in elderly care. Speakers included Professor Ruth Flaan-Lopez, who discussed cultural influences on life expectancy attitudes in the U.S., and Dr. Sharon Mor, who presented a model for cross-cultural adaptation in palliative care in Israel. The event also featured a musical performance by students from the Music Department.
