Academic discourse on the Legal Reforms planned by the government of Israel

Description: The opening of the second semester (March 2023) was marked by a protest against the legal reforms planned by the government of Israel and defense of the democratic values the state is based on since its establishment in 1948. The university administration initiated an explanatory academic discourse, the purpose of which is to present the university community and the general public with the articles of the legal reform and to raise awareness of the significance of these measures on everyone’s life A citizen and a citizen in the State of Israel. The academic protest adopted the slogan “without democracy there is no academy”, and is an integral part of nationwide resistance actions.
