Appointment of University diversity officer – Prof. Shulamit Almog

Description: On June 2, 2022, the President’s Office announced the appointment of Prof. Shulamit Almog as head of the diversity and equality committee at the University of Haifa. The committee will examine aspects of fairness, diversity and inclusion in every plan, development and important decision made at the university. It will be in touch with various parties charged with promoting these goals, both inside the university and outside it, as well as with international institutions. The committee will also serve as an address for inquiries on the aforementioned topics, conduct research, collect relevant information and promote the agenda of diversity, equality and human rights among faculties and faculty members, as well as all over the campus.
