Description: The university’s water management strategy entails enhancing water use efficiency, promoting responsible water usage, and substituting traditional non-potable water sources with sustainable alternatives . All construction and renovation projects at the university adhere to water efficiency standards for fixtures and appliances (SDG 6.3.4). For example the use of faucet aerator (or tap aerator or diffuser) found at the tip of water faucets. Aerators can simply be screwed onto the faucet head, creating a non-splashing stream and often delivering a mixture of water and air, thus conserving water.
