Description: In accordance with the laws of the State of Israel, the University of Haifa is committed to the protection and preservation of marine ecosystems, wildlife, as well as concern for the health and well-being of humans. In order to meet these goals, the university operates according to water quality and drainage standards, prevention and reduction of all types of marine pollution, reduction of physical, chemical, and biological changes in marine ecosystems. This policy also ensures that the food on campus that comes from marine ecosystems is sustainably produced.
