Description: The University of Haifa is certified for a Green Construction standard, by the Standards Institute of Israel (SI 5281/1;). Chapter 2 of the Standard discusses ways to protect construction site’s ecology, for example the standard requires that prior to land development a biodiversity survey is conducted and that trees are conserved.
