Definition and control of employment processes and rights of employees hired by hours

Description: The university is committed to guarantee the rights of employees hired by hours or outsourced. As part of this commitment, the university has a written procedure that defines and controls the employment processes and rights of the employees in this sector (see attached link). Appendix No. 3 to the procedure specifies the main employment rights as follows:
• Determination of the hourly wage
• Payment of annual recovery fees
• Rates of monthly contributions to the employee’s pension fund
• Entitlement to sick pay
• Travel allowance from the employee’s place of residence to the university and back
• Maternity leave
• Utilization of up to 40 working hours for medical examinations during pregnancy
• Payment for holidays, according to the Israeli holidays calendar or the employee’s religious holidays, subject to his choice.
