On March 8, 2023, in honor of the International Women’s Day, library’s female staff  formed a red necklace. The purpose of the action is to express solidarity with the women of the world as well as protest violence against women. Red color symbolizes blood, resistance and struggle for justice.

The event took place at the initiative of  the Cultural Center at the Younes & Soraya Nazarian Library.
