A bachelor’s degree in  Medical Imaging Sciences  is a newly established department at the Faculty of Social Welfare & Health Sciences, unique and the first of its kind in Israel opened on October 2022. Its purpose is to train professionals in medical imaging, having a broad worldview, technological and academic knowledge and skills at high levels, alongside interpersonal skills and a professional approach to treatment. The medical imaging profession is a development of the x-ray technician profession, whose role is to operate the technological equipment associated today with all tests, treatments and photographs that are done in combination with and using medical imaging devices.
