“Touching the Prado” exhibit in Madrid showcases 3-D replicas of paintings, so blind visitors can feel key works of art

Description

A new and innovative course, “Advanced Technologies in Rehabilitation and Development,” led by Dr. Alexandra Saad from the Department of Occupational Therapy and Prof. Tsvi Kuflik from the Department of Information Systems was launched this year. Throughout the course, students worked to make the University’s Hecht Museum accessible to blind people by creating products through a 3D printer and sound sensors.
